✧CH212: leaning against the wall of an underpass, having run from Kanda and Johnny, fighting off the slow process of Noahfication, Allen falls through a patch of darkness in the wall and finds himself in a whole new world. (This is when he found himself in the Carnival.)

He has to push everyone away for fear they, too, will be erased by Apocryphos and the monster Allen--Nea--can become. Yet, at the same time, he longs for the warmth of his friends. It's a difficult torch to give up, an impossible torch to pass. God, he yearns for connection. Yet all he can do is hurt the people he loves in order to keep them safe. (This is where he finds himself in Empatheias.)
